Planning permission obtained for a new 1 bedroom house. 

 

We are pleased to have gained full planning permission of a one bedroom dwelling for a property developer and investor in the Headington area of Oxford. This corner plot which is attached to an existing dwelling was quite small in size, therefore, it required careful planning at the design stage to maximise the available floor space.

 

We have incorporated the 16 design Criteria for the 'Lifetime Homes Standard' which means that each of these added design features will add to the comfort and convenience of the property and will support any changing of individuals and families at their different stage of life. 

 

Sustainability was an important part of this development, some of the energy features included were: Solar energy (PV), extra thermal insulation, an (A) rated energy efficient boiler. 

 

Working with our Building control partners, building drawing approval was granted within a 3 week period.

Building work is due to begin in early spring 2014.
